I first saw this on Vicky's blog, Clips-n-Cuts when it first came out in December of 2015. She is an amazing artist and crafter. I am too scared to dab it with white paint to resemble "snow", as Vicky did. Maybe I will get brave before Christmas. Many items here were taken from her instructions. What I love about this project is there are so many things to look at. Hoping my grandchildren will enjoy it this Christmas.
marthahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06258825280200425041noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8159167841622702927.post-25338638803770388832018-12-08T18:17:00.000-05:002018-12-08T18:17:41.188-05:00Charlie and Paulchen Dies from GermanyFirst cards for 2018 Christmas. Used the German dies from the company Charlie and Paulchen. They have beautiful dies, paper, stamps, etc. The cost of shipping from Germany is not bad at all and you receive them in a timely manner. I never knew you could do this technique! Love the technique. I don't know the stencil I used. Tried this technique on a tag, manila paper and grunge paper. I like the manila paper the best. Used Distress Paints - Old Paper, Weathered Wood, and Frayed Burlap to color the paper.

Not sure what I will do with this, but for now I will just enjoy this on my craft desk.
I colored yesterday, but it was not worth sharing. I thought colored pencils would be easy. Ha!

Today I chose this cute lady to color. This set, Dare To Be Fabulous, by Art Impressions, cracks me up. There are so many great phrases. But this lady looked like she was doing some accessorizing! I will have to add this sentiment to my excuses to not exercise list.

This is my coloring project for Day 2 of the 30 Day Coloring Challenge with The Daily Marker. I am very new to watercoloring and thought I would get some more practice in today.

I inked Pretty Perch stamp set by Penny black onto watercolor paper using SU Sahara Sand ink. I used Mission watercolors which I found recommended from Kristina Werner's blog awhile back.

My bird needs a lot of work. I think my flower pot isn't too bad,... for a beginner.
